The Creatrix and Editor in Chief of Pussy Magic, sam is a writer/editor originally from Northern California. Her work in and outside of writing revolves around the merging of spirituality and authentic well-being to foster community, raw self-expression, and holistic healing to honor our sacred selves: mind, body, and spirit.

sam is the author of L’ACQUA (2017), a poet, and the columnist of sacred wild exile at Pussy Magic. Her writing has been featured in ILY Mag, The IN Magazine, The Vagina Zine, Tiny Flames Press, Occulum, Rose Quartz Magazine, and more, with a poem forthcoming in Blood Orange.

sam offers Sacred Serpent Writing + Healing sessions to bring people more intimacy with themselves and their writing which you can find more info about on her website. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her partner and plant babies.

Krizia Isamar Bruno is an artist, editor, and writer born and raised in Brooklyn, who decided to unpack her bags in Pittsburgh, PA. Her creations feature a magical and diverse world where moms and daughters live for and against each other.

She is the founder of Ofrendas Press, an independent publishing press focused on creating handmade books and publications by women of Latinx, African, and/or Indigenous heritage. Her first self-published work, Dominicana Americana, is available now at the Ofrendas Shop.

Cassidy Scanlon is a Capricorn poet and witch who uses her artistic gifts as a channel for healing herself and others. She writes poetry and CNF about mental health, astrology, queer love, pop culture representation, and how social structures shape our perceptions of history and mythology. When she’s not writing, she can be found petting the local stray cats, exploring the swamps of Florida, reading 5 books at a time, and unwinding with her Leo girlfriend.

Born in Southern Ohio, but settled in the UK since 1999, Kate is a writer, witch, editor and mother of five. She is the author of several poetry pamphlets, and the founding editor of four web journals and a micropress.

Her witchcraft is a blend of her great-grandmother's Appalachian ways and the Anglo-Celtic craft of the country she now calls home – though she incorporates tarot, astrology, and her ancestors, plus music, film, books, and many other things into her practice. Her spiritual life is best described as queer Christopagan with emphasis on the feminine and the natural world. She believes magic is everywhere.

Leah recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master of Philosophy in Multidisciplinary Gender Studies, Department of Politics and International Studies as the Chevening Scholar, Rotary Global Fellow, and Cambridge Trust Scholar. Previously she earned a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) in Women's Studies from the University of Calgary; a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction and a minor in Anthropology) in International Relations from the University of Calgary; and a graduate certificate from the London School of Economics and Politics in Law, War, and Human Rights.

She is a queer, disabled, aspiring poet who examines gender, transhumanism, and power through writing. In her spare time, she rescues at-risk rescue kittens for Furry Tales Rescue, and supports Diversity in Leadership, a training program organized to achieve greater diversity of representation on volunteer boards. She currently works for Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa, and has two beautiful sons, who are both cats.

She is based in Worcestershire, UK however was born in Germany and spent formative years abroad, spent childhood in the North East of England and adolescence in Suffolk. Amy is a student facilitator running a reading group for the homeless with the charity Maggs Day Centre. She writes poetry and short stories regularly contributing to the local literary scene.

Contributing Writer and Love Witch for Pussy Magic, Effy is a romantic poet and sex magic practitioner who teaches the art of witchcraft to women around the world.

She is exceptionally skilled in blood magic and uses her natural abilities to conjure fiery gods of lust and power in an effort to help women indulge in and embrace their sexuality. When she is not performing ritual or birthing her sickly poetry, Effy can be found worshipping by candlelight, tending to the sallow flowerbeds inside of her ribcage or praying to a vicious god.

She is obsessed with kitschy motels in the desert, mermaids, vampires, and pinups. In her twenties she attended UEA in England, and misses being able to sit in pubs, people watch, and write.
